Is my network connection good enough for gaming?

As a general rule of thumb, if you can stream Netflix on your network, you’ll definitely be able to use our platform.

Our protocol has been optimized to only stream changing pixels, which means in idle state, you will have a minimal pixel streaming. Playing games in full screen, will increase the bandwidth usage.

In general, we would recommend a 10 Mbps connection per user in a network to guarantee a fluid experience at any time, which is a bandwidth that is well over-provisioned by most providers today.

Please note that latency might be a more significant bottleneck. To get more information about latency and to test your connectivity to our datacenter, click here (redirects to “Is PixelStellar supported in my country or location?”).
